Step 1: Make sure you have the right information

Before contacting anyone, ensure you have the following information on hand:

Accident details:

  • Pictures or videos of the scene

  • Date, time, and location of the accident

  • Description of how the accident happened

  • Damage to your vehicle or to other vehicle(s)

If another driver or drivers were involved, collect:

  • Name and driver’s license number

  • Insurance company and policy number

  • Vehicle owner’s name, address, and phone number

  • Vehicle year, make, model, and license plate number

Step 2: Contact us
